Known for their resourcefulness, the people of Meghalaya uphold their role as guardians of the environment, demonstrating innovative ways of utilizing natural resources. Centered around the theme “homegrown, handpicked, and handcrafted,” the festival supported local entrepreneurs by featuring a diverse selection of handicrafts, handlooms, music, cuisine, art, literature, and more. Visitors explored a vibrant marketplace where talented vendors, craftsmen, artisans, and musicians came together, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and lively. Beyond shopping and performances, Winter Tales 2024 offered a range of immersive experiences.
