Tura peak offers panoramic view of the Western plain belts of Meghalaya on a clear day. If developed, this could become a trek destination within the town itself
- Things to do: A trek can be untaken from Tura town. The range forest is famous for many medicinal plants and scores of animals including slow loris, macaques, bears, leopards, elephants, langurs and many others. There is a watch tower at Tura peak but it is in a bad shape, needing repair.
